vanCONTROLLER has been developed to provide you with a flexible, simple to install solution for a number of key engine management functions and can be fitted to most commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
engine THROTTLE SPEED CONTROL - set or variable speeds. Used in conjunction with KEYOUT Interlocked to function only while the vehicle is stationary, engine RPM can be governed to a single speed, dual speed or continuously variable speed. watch a video of the THROTTLE SPEED CONTROL in action
idle CUT OUT CONTROL - with adjustable timing and interlocks - reduces fuel bills by stopping the engine if the vehicle is left idling for a predefined period of time that can be configured with the onboard keypad and display.
The vanCONTROLLER’s main interface point with the vehicle is with the electronic throttle signals. The signal paths are cut and then the vanCONTROLLER fits in-line, so that the vanCONTROLLER can then replicate the throttle signals. Other key signals that the controller will interface with include:
Engine and road speed
Ignition
Handbrake
CAN
By interfacing with these signals, the vanCONTROLLER can influence the operation of the vehicle, and add functions and features to the vehicle.
