Zeta was launched in 1989 by Paul Tyrrell and Phil Shadbolt, both graduate electronic engineers. who had previously worked together at Oxford Brookes University.
Having identified a market for electronic engine control systems they set about designing a bespoke system to meet one customer's specific requirement. This basic concept has spawned a number of distinct product families with a multitude of applications, such as Engine Management Systems, Hydrostatic Drive Controls, Remote Control and Engine Protection Modules.
